Quail
Button Quail
Button quail are small, quirky birds who love a good sand bath and lots of places to hide. Unlike most other quail these quail require stable heating in cold weather and usually do better inside the house then out. They lay adorable eggs the size of easter mini eggs and often go broody if kept in pairs in a well sheltered enclosure. chicks & juvinile birds 10$ ea Hatching eggs 20$ per dozen
Coturnix Quail
Coturnix quail are a hesvily domisticated bird used for both egg laying and meat production depending on the lineage of your birds. Jumbos bred for mest can reach 4 lbs, while the smaller egg laying lines can pop out an egg every 12 hours at the peak of production.
Our birds are primarily the egg laying variety but are still a physically sold quail. They are fairly cold tolerant as long as they are dry and kept in a draft free enclosure. Like all quail they love a good sand bath to rid themselves of parasites and dirt. Juvinile coturnix: 5$ chicks: 3$
Ducks
Khaki Campbelles
Khaki Campbelles are an excellent laying duck!! Hens generslly lay a medium sized white egg daily which are great for baking or for people alergic to chicken eggs. Ducklings are 10$ Hatching eggs are 30$ per dozen
Other Birds
Zebra finches are a small high energy talkativly little bird who spice up any aviary. They are prolific breeders and great birds for large flocks as they increibky social little critters. we almost always have zebras avaliable during the warmer months of the year. The Old German Owl pigeon is a fancy breed favoured for its relaxed and freindly personality along with its adorsble frilly looks. They are a smaller breed of pigeon and often prefer to walk rather then fly which makes them excellent house pets. Do not let these pidgeons free fly outside they have no homing ability what so ever and are easily picked off by predators! Juvinle birds (not sexed) are 30$
